A few words about repairs

  1. •Often times students may get frustrated with their playing because certain notes won’t play or the sound is weird. 90% of the time this is due to a problem with the instrument and not the player. Please let your band teacher help you determine if your instrument needs repair.

  2. •If you feel your instrument is in need of repair, please let your band teacher look at it first. Many issues are easily fixed with a simple turn of a screwdriver.

  3. •If you are renting your instrument, check with the music store you’re renting from, as your repair is most likely covered in your rental agreement.

  4. •If your repair is going to take longer than a few days, consider asking for a loaner instrument so that you still have an instrument to play and practice.
